Our Parkstadt Leipzig was planned at the end of the 19th to the beginning of the 20th century as a park hospital by Hugo Licht and built by Otto Wilhelm Scharenberg.
The former park hospital is still a listed building and refers to more than 20 existing buildings - characterized by clinker facades with ornamentation and high rungs windows. Instead of the usual multi-storey central construction, construction was built in the "pavillon style" until 1901. The pavilion construction, which has already been used, will also be taken up again in the construction of the new buildings. Thus, the new residential buildings complement the monument-protected ensemble by recording the familiar and sensitively continuing to build them without historicizing.
This is where a livable residential quarter with a sustainable future perspective is created.
the surroundings at a glance
Not far from Leipzig's Neuseenland, south of Leipzig is our Parkstadt Leipzig.
The rural charm and at the same time the proximity to the city of Leipzig make the district of Dölitz-Dösen more attractive than ever as the southernmost and greenest district. Numerous lakes, cycling and hiking trails, as well as leisure activities are in the immediate vicinity. Leipzig's Neuseenland attracts with impressive variety. Here water meets culture, action meets relaxation and past meets present. Natural rivers merge with the surrounding, newly created lakes and unite with the cultural city of Leipzig. All year round, Leipzig's lakes surprise with various events, plenty of sights and sporting events that evoke a new way of life. In, on or on the water - there is something for everyone!
We will be happy to explain further information about the Parkstadt Leipzig in a personal conversation.
