Wiesbaden is characterised by the diversity of its cultural programme. This is particularly perceptible in the inner city with festivals, concerts from international artists and an extremely vast range of events.

Wilhelmstraße - known to the Wiesbaden natives as the "Rue" - is the pulse of the inner city. The city centre is within walking distance and there you will find tasteful furniture shops, a variety of supermarkets and renowned fashion brands. Once a week a large market offers regional products and international specialities. And amongst all these delights there is greenery everywhere. For example the Kurpark, which extends from the inner city to Sonnenberg, is an idyll - 75,000 square metres laid out in the English landscape garden style.

Elegance and a rich history.

From the Badehaus spa to modern town villas. The land occupied by the town villas has played an important role in Wiesbaden's history.

In 1842 the Hotel Düringer was built. In its day its bathing facilities made it not only a particularly modern spa hotel, but also a sought-after meeting point for the nobility and prominent members of society. For example, the Russian author, Fjodor Dostojewsk was a frequent visitor to the spa's casino. In 1857 the hotel changed hands and was renamed the "Victoria Hotel and Spa". It has made a considerable contribution to Wiesbaden's reputation as a spa town.

Decline and new beginnings In March 1945 the hotel was destroyed by an air raid. The historic villas from the industrial expansion period of the 19th century in its vicinity remained standing, but the hotel disappeared completely from the cityscape. In its place for a long time there stood a car park. Now Wilhelms IX with its nine modern town villas coordinates well with the overall impression. They define a modern cityscape by providing stylish residences in historic surroundings.

Nine town villas, nine identities.

Who are Wilhem's Nine? Wilhelm I, the first Duke of Nassau, had several wives and a large family. The nine town villas in Wilhelms IX are named after the ladies, who played a significant part in his life. In the future Wilhelms IX will enhance the town centre and imbue it with its own identity.

Floors. All baths, guest toilets and storerooms, utility rooms and kitchen areas are floored with stoneware tiles from Schöner Wohnen (Urban collection) These are available in six different colours. An exceptional quality multi-layer oak parquet from Bauwerk (Monopark series) has been laid in the living rooms.

The large number of floor-to-ceiling windows in the apartments creates a pleasant atmosphere. 

Electric roller shutters and external blind systems guarantee optimum visibility and sun protection. The apartments in each upper floor of the villa with a flat roof are pre-equipped for a cooling system.

Thanks to increased sound-proofing the apartments are particularly quiet. Screening walls on the balconies and terraces guarantee undisturbed privacy.

Inner values. The interior walls and ceilings have been sealed with paint substrate. The under-floor heating system is controlled by room thermostats in every room. The apartments are also well equipped with a video intercom system with colour display (manufactured by BuschJaeger, BuschWelcome System) and multimedia cabling (homeway®).
