In Möckern, the district directly adjoining Gohlis, you are also surrounded by the lush greenery of the extensive Leutzscher Holz forest and the woodlands of the alluvial forest. South of the district the picturesque paths along the white Elster and Luppe rivers entice the inhabitants to cycle and explore on foot.

Its proximity of just 3 kilometres to the city centre is not the only advantage of the Leipzig-Nord residential area. The outstanding public transport connections to the centre, the very good traffic connections in all directions with high-performance main and parallel roads and the short distance to the Leipzig/Halle airport speak for themselves.
