Cologne/Bonn, 17 May 2018: Instone Real Estate Development GmbH has been granted planning permission for the former Paulusheim site in the Bonn district of Endenich. The project developer is planning to start building around 210 rental and owner-occupied flats there soon. Bonn’s City Council approved the corresponding development plan on 3 May 2018.
“We are delighted that we can begin making our development plan a reality, and we will begin selling the flats this summer,” explained Andreas Gräf, CDO of Instone Real Estate Group and COO for North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhine-Main.
The new “Schumanns Höhe” residential area, which will welcome a wide range of living concepts, is to be built on the approximately 21,000 square metres site on Sebastianstrasse. In addition to owner-occupied flats, Instone will specifically be offering different forms of accommodation for older residents.
Stefan Dahlmanns, Instone’s Regional Manager for North Rhine-Westphalia, added: “The new neighbourhood will be in a sought-after Bonn location. Therefore we are confident that we will have already sold most of them by the time construction starts at the end of 2018.” Initial preparatory construction work will be commencing soon. All flats are scheduled to be ready for occupancy by the end of 2020.
In the coming years, Instone is also developing more than 550 rental and owner-occupied flats and more than 40,000 square metres of commercial space as part of its approximately 60,000 square metres west.side project in Endenich in Bonn.
